To begin with, we are forever grateful 🥺 for your comments, ideas and suggestions in our social networks and always take them into account in our effort to make the Walken experience smooth ✨ and more exciting for all our players. Today we'd like to follow up on a recent request from our Community member who was looking for opportunities to get more GEMs and upgrade the CAThlete tribe faster. Luckily, there's no need for the x2 event for GEMs - you can enjoy boosted GEM earnings all year round! 😎
💡In a nutshell, steps earn you GEMs. For every thousand validated steps you get 1 Gem 💎
Yet leveling up a CAThlete pack getting that many gems for walking/running might seem a bit daunting 🙂 With that thought in mind, we introduced the Gem Multiplier last summer. Simply put, the multiplier boosts GEM earnings allowing players to get more GEMs for the same amount of steps 🔝 Let's take a closer look at how it works and how to benefit from it!
🙀 Bonus for happy CAThlete tribe owners
WIth more CAThletes comes greater responsibility! Gem multiplier is designed to help players get an increased Gem reward for their steps and keep upgrading 🚀several CAThletes around the same time with the extra GEMs at hand. The more CAThletes you have, the higher is the multiplier and the more Gems you can earn for your steps 👟
🧬 Bonus for owners of Genesis CAThletes
Owners of Genesis CAThletes (regardless of their number), also receive an additional x0.5 to the Multiplier.
⚠️This extra multiplier is added on top of your current multiplier for having 1 or more Genesis CAThlete.
So, with the GEM Multiplier, each verified step earns a player extra GEMs:
💛2 CAThletes - Gems x1.5 (+0.5 for Genesis)
💛3 CAThletes - Gems x1.9 (+0.5 for Genesis)
💛4 CAThletes - Gems x2.2 (+0.5 for Genesis)
💛5 CAThletes - Gems x2.4 (+0.5 for Genesis)
💛6+ CAThletes - Gems x2.5 (+0.5 for Genesis)

The most important thing that we really want to inspire our players to do on a daily basis is to lead an active lifestyle and move more - the habit easily developed through regularly completing a daily goal. 10,000 steps not only benefits your health, but also earns a bonus 5 Gems 🤩
Summing up, these are the honest ways to earn extra gems in Walken. We emphasized the word “honest” because in the pursuit of additional Gems some players may try 💭 to cheat. But do not forget that the risk is highly unlikely to be justified and the result will be a permanent ban ❌
